Start a new journey in Therapeutic Counselling
Are you looking for a counsellor or psychotherapist?
My name is Natasha Watson, I am a registered member of the BACP and a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist. I offer holistic and integrative talking therapy to support your mental health and wellbeing. I hold ethics and compassion at the forefront of my work, and my approach is designed to help you explore present and past issues, work through difficulties and build resilience.
Why therapy?
Why choose talking therapy?
My clients seek therapy for a myriad reasons. Perhaps you're going through a really difficult time at the moment, or experiencing grief, beareavement, separation, divorce, social anxiety, work-related issues, coming to terms with a health diagnosis/prognosis, financial problems or experiencing relationship challenges. Whatever is going on for you, therapy can be a lifeline for so many people at difficult stages of life. Often talking about your problems with someone new can feel extremely challenging at first - I fully recognise that, having been through counselling myself. It will take time for the professional relationship to build and for me to get to know you. Normally after this stage, and having worked together for several weeks or months, the therapeutic outcomes can surprise people - from settling relationship issues, to advocating for your needs, finding your voice, or working through grief in a way that works for you. Sometimes my clients find it useful to document the process by writing in a journal, making voice notes, or writing brief notes after each session about what was covered and how they felt. Overall, I'm keen to get to know you therapeutically as a unique individual. In sessions I will be curious and compassionate about your journey, explore your present and past at your pace, and help you build resilience factors for a great therapeutic outcome. I aim to understand you as much as possible, so I can offer the best client-focused support and therapeutic counselling experience tailored to your needs.

What's vital and unique about my therapy?
I focus on the following within my counselling practice:
1) Individualised client-centred therapy tailored to my clients' needs.
2) Integrative modality with Person-Centred Humanist therapy at its core, drawing on other modalities as fits my clients' needs.
3) Ethical, professional and boundaried sessions following the BACP ethical framework.
4) Creative and mindful holistic practices are used, drawing on music, art and walk-and-talk therapy.
5) I offer a discounted phone consultation with a brief assessment, and then ongoing therapy with 6 week reviews.
Online and face-to-face therapy sessions available
I am available for online therapy at flexible times in the mornings, afternoons and evenings and face-to-face in Bickley at Park Therapy Rooms, 4 Daly Drive and in Bromley at Cobden Court. Let me know what works best for you.
